Microsoft is set to introduce a significant security enhancement to its Teams platform that will empower users to flag potentially malicious or unsolicited calls.
This upcoming feature, “Report a Suspicious Call,” is designed to strengthen the platform’s defenses against fraudulent activities by leveraging user-submitted reports to identify and mitigate threats.
The new capability will allow individuals to report any call they deem unusual or suspicious directly within the Teams application.
When a user flags a call, the report will be sent to Microsoft for analysis. This data will help the company’s security teams to recognize patterns of malicious behavior.

The release will be phased, starting with a targeted release before becoming generally available to all users, ensuring a smooth, stable integration for organizations worldwide.
