Claude catches up to ChatGPT with built-in memory support
AI startup Anthorpic is planning to add a memory feature to Claude in a bid to take on ChatGPT, which has an advanced memory feature.
With memory support, Claude can remember past events and reference them in new chats to improve the results.
For example, if you specifically instruct Claude that you prefer Python as your favourite programming language, it’ll try to show Python-based code output only.
Anthorpic hasn’t confirmed memory support for Claude, but as some users spotted on X, references are already popping up on the mobile app.

In addition, Claude will allow users to embed Claude functionality within its Artifacts. For those unaware, Artifacts is a feature of Claude where interactive webpages or content load in a sidebar.
This could be a game-changer move as it means more users will be able to “vibe-code” their apps, but it also depends on how well Claude will be integrated into Artifacts.
