“The CISO’s Guide to Securing a Board Seat” was originally presented at the RSA Conference USA 2025. In his keynote, Kurtz explained how to build influence, guide business risk decisions, and earn your seat at the table.
Every corporate board should have a CISO on it, insists Kurtz, who shares from the lens of a publicly traded company CEO with a market capitalization that exceeds $100 billion, and not a security expert.
