Cybercrime To Cost The World $10T Annually, Per Cybersecurity Ventures


CNN reports in a special news video that “Fighting cybercrime is big business around the world. By the end of this year, the financial impact of cybercrime is expected to surpass $10 trillion USD according to the firm Cybersecurity Ventures. They say this is the new frontline in geopolitical tensions, misinformation and election fraud, making the investment in Cybersecurity just as important as investing in military defense.”

At GITEX 2024 in Dubai, UAE last week, Head of Cybersecurity Mohamed Al Kuwaiti highlighted the growing threat of cyberterrorism and the urgent need for enhanced security measures to combat disinformation. Stephen McPartland, former British National Security Minister spoke to the critical importance of wrapping Cybersecurity around the world’s supply chains.
