Detectify is honored to start off the RSA 2023 Conference with the news that it has been recognized as the market leader in Attack Surface Management in Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global InfoSec Awards. This accolade demonstrates the effectiveness of Detectify’s approach to External Attack Surface Management (EASM), which is unique in the space because it tests environments with real payloads by using its crowdsourced community of ethical hackers.
“Greater use of the public cloud and highly connected supply chains are leaving organizations vulnerable to attackers. For those working on the frontline of cybersecurity, identifying and monitoring changes in an organization’s external attack surface is crucial to discern what actions to take to protect the attack surface,” said Rickard Carlsson, CEO and Co-Founder, Detectify.
“Detectify utilizes an outside-in approach to understand what is being exposed on the attack surface, delivering 99.7% accurate vulnerability assessments and accelerated remediation through actionable guidance. It’s an honor to be recognized as the market leader in EASM as we continue to provide a holistic view of our customers’ security health.”
This is Cyber Defense Magazine’s eleventh year of honoring InfoSec innovators from around the globe. The judges for the award are CISSP, FMDHS, CEH, certified security professionals who voted based on their independent review of the company-submitted materials on the website of each submission, including but not limited to data sheets, white papers, product literature and other market variables.
“We scoured the globe looking for cybersecurity innovators that could make a huge difference and potentially help turn the tide against the exponential growth in cyber-crime. Detectify is absolutely worthy of this coveted award and consideration for deployment in your environment,” said Yan Ross, Editor, Cyber Defense Magazine.
By deploying a team of elite ethical hackers, Detectify minimizes the noise with 100% payload-based testing. Leveraging real payloads derived from our Crowdsource community means companies don’t need to waste resources and time validating information. Detectify researchers have submitted over 1,765 modules, 300+ 0-days were received in 2020-2021, and nearly 240,000 vulnerabilities have been found in customer assets.
Detectify will be receiving the award in person at the RSA 2023 Conference. If you are in town for the show and would like to learn more about our offerings, meet us at the conference.
