About IntelBroker and CyberNiggers

It is noteworthy that IntelBroker, a member of the “CyberNiggers” group, is the user selling the purported General Electic data.

The threat actor has a history of disclosing datasets from major corporations, including the U.S. Immigration Service, Autotrader, Volvo, Hilton Hotels, Verizon, and AT&T. Law enforcement became more aware of these breaches and data dumps in succession.

The CyberNiggers stayed low-key for a while after multiple massive breaches. But the group is now back in full force- with the alleged General Electric data breach, signaling the end of their inactivity.

About General Electric

Since its establishment in 1892, General Electric (GE), an international company, has grown into an industrial giant. GE, which is well-known for offering a wide range of goods and services, has led the way in industries like electricity, renewable energy, aviation, and healthcare.

The company’s aerospace sector is well-known across the world for producing state-of-the-art aircraft engines, which have greatly advanced air travel.

Apart from the aviation industry, GE has achieved significant advancements in healthcare innovation by offering cutting-edge medical technologies and solutions. Its efforts in renewable energy sources demonstrate its dedication to sustainable energy practices.

Furthermore, GE has been instrumental in advancing defense programs by working on ground-breaking research with organizations such as the DARPA.

In the wake of the alleged General Electric data breach by the CyberNiggers group, the cybersecurity landscape faces heightened concerns. The posting of sensitive information on the Dark Web, including SQL database files, military documents, and technical guidelines, not only implicates GE but also exposes data related to the U.S. government’s defense research agency DARPA.

As the digital realm evolves, the need for robust cybersecurity measures becomes not just a matter of protection but a foundational element in securing the integrity of organizations worldwide.
