The declaration of the attack comes at a tumultuous time for France, which is already grappling with internal strife following the tragic death of a Muslim teenager involved in multiple violations. The incident has sparked widespread unrest, with the entire country feeling the effects of the uprisings.

Amidst the chaos and divergent opinions surrounding the incident, the hacker collectives have joined the fray, vowing to launch a cyber attack on France. Users and Anonymous Russia are united in their goal with a clear goal: to bring down France at all costs.

Anonymous Russia and Usersec join hands: Pro-Russian hackers launching cyber attack on France

Anonymous Russia, a relatively new player in the underground hacker community, has also entered the scene, lending its support to Russia in its conflict against Ukraine and NATO. This move has shaken the world of pro-Kremlin hacktivists.

Killmilk, the founder and de facto leader of the Killnet group, recently revealed the real-life identity of “Raty,” the head of Anonymous Russia. This disclosure signifies a deeper integration between the two groups, as Anonymous Russia initially focused on conducting distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in Ukraine before joining forces with Killnet.

As France finds itself caught in the crossfire, Pro-Russian hackers are vehemently opposing anyone or anything that stands in the way of their objectives. While the exact motive behind the cyber attack on France remains unclear, the threat actors appear to align themselves more closely with Russia than with the ongoing tensions between French authorities and the Muslim population.

Islamic extremist, Anonymous Russia, Usersec: Attack on France is only getting worse

Furthermore, Anonymous Russia has undergone a change in leadership and is now set to resume its targeting of “Russophobic” nations. A recent post on their dark website reveals that the group will be led by User1, who assumes the reins of the hacker collective. “Greetings to all, comrades. User 1 is online. Anonymous Russia is now under my direction. In the near future, the Anonymous Russia team will be assembled, and the group will return to the hacker system! Glory to Russia!” proclaims the threat actor in the post.

The alleged cyber attack on France orchestrated by Usersec and Anonymous Russia raises significant concerns for the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure. French authorities are already struggling with internal conflict, and several known personalities, especially those that support Islam, have come forward to oppose France.

Sheikh Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari, a popular Muslim cleric, recently posted a video where he can be seen saying statements that could become a problem for the people of France. According to the translated version of the video, the cleric states that “France will become an Islamic country through Jihad. It is said that in 2050, Muslims will outnumber the French in France. But it is not these numbers that we are counting on to turn France into an Islamic country. What we are counting on is that — Muslims must have a country that will bring Islam its guidance, its light, its message, and its mercy–to the people (of the West) through Jihad for the sake of Allah”.

While getting the heat from both sides of the track, France is getting into more serious trouble. The internal conflicts are already burning cities in France, and the addition of cyber attacks will only worsen the situation for the country. This is an ongoing story, and The Cyber Express will update this post once we have more information on the alleged claims of a cyber attack on France.
