Why Dazz?
Dazz Security has emerged as an industry leader in Application Security Posture Management (ASPM).
Its advanced remediation engine empowers organizations to manage and mitigate application risks by correlating data from diverse sources and pinpointing vulnerabilities at their root.
Dazz’s platform uniquely enables engineers to resolve issues directly in the code while incorporating vital cloud context into security workflows.
“Dazz delivers exactly what today’s organizations need: the ability to connect risks across the application lifecycle, prioritize issues with precision, and streamline collaboration between security and engineering teams,” said Wiz in its announcement.
According to the report from Wiz, the acquisition will enable Wiz to expand its capabilities by integrating Dazz’s strengths into its existing platform.
This will allow security teams to address risks more efficiently, turning complex remediation processes into actionable solutions.
The deal also marks a personal milestone for Wiz’s leadership. Assaf Rappaport, Wiz’s CEO and co-founder, shared a heartfelt reflection on his enduring partnership with Dazz’s CEO and co-founder, Merav Bahat.
The two first collaborated during their time at Microsoft after the tech giant acquired Adallom, a cybersecurity company Rappaport co-founded.“What makes this moment special is the full-circle nature of it,” Rappaport said.
“Though neither of us envisioned Wiz or Dazz back then, our shared belief in cybersecurity’s potential for disruption has brought us back together. I’m thrilled to welcome Dazz to Wiz and continue this exciting journey.”
The integration of Dazz’s technology will enhance Wiz’s ability to bridge the gap between security and engineering teams, enabling them to collaborate seamlessly.
By combining Wiz’s graph-based risk detection with Dazz’s remediation capabilities, the unified platform will empower organizations to act quickly and decisively against evolving threats.
