Industry experts and thought leaders will gather to discuss the state of Australia’s Internet of Things (IoT) industry at the Telstra-hosted and Digital Twinning Australia-sponsored IoT Alliance Australia annual State of the Nation event, taking place in Sydney on November 14, 2024.
The event, at the Sydney CIC Centre, Telstra, on George Street in the CBD, will run from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and includes a networking session with drinks and canapés following the main presentations
Attendees can expect an evening of expert insights, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities, unpacking key trends, challenges and opportunities using real time data, AI, IoT, cloud and related systems and technologies.
Speakers include IoTAA CEO Frank Zeichner, who will deliver the State of the Nation address, and panels moderated by industry experts.
IoTAA will also present its latest research findings benchmarking IoT adoption and its influence on Australia’s economic and climate targets.
Dr Ian Oppermann from ServiceGen and UTS, will moderate a panel discussion about “Achieving data and digital trustworthiness”, which will also involve Peter Leonard from Data Synergies.
IoTAA chair Judy Anderson will moderate a panel titled “A national plan for trusted quantitative data for the net zero and nature positive transition”. This session will also involve Derryn Heilbuth from BWD and Gabriella Warden from CMI.
Emeritus Professor Roy Green from UTS will moderate a panel about “Real-time measurement and tracking for climate-related disclosure”. This session will also involve Baker Tamory from Microsoft and Genéne Kleppe from Digital Twinning Australia.
