2023 Detectify Crowdsource Awards: Meet the winners

We at Detectify are thrilled to present the 2023 Detectify Crowdsource Awards, akin to the Oscars or Grammys of ethical hacking. The awards are our opportunity to celebrate our Crowdsource community members’ extraordinary talents and achievements from the past year. The ethical hackers awarded in this edition have shown exceptional skill and played a crucial role in fortifying the security of Detectify’s customers throughout a year full of threats. 

Let’s roll out the red carpet and meet our distinguished winners:

Leaderboard Leader

Firzen set the bar high in 2023, amassing a staggering 51,500 points and securing the top spot on our leaderboard.

Substantial Submitter

Geek Freak demonstrated that quantity and quality can indeed go hand in hand. He exemplified consistency and impact in 2023, with an impressive tally of over 65 valid submissions throughout the year. 

Superiority Submitter

The title of Superiority Submitter goes to Tengeez in 2023. With an outstanding submission validity ratio of 71%, his work exemplified quality and set the benchmark for ethical hackers in our community.

Serial Submitter

Once again, Geek Freak made his mark by clinching the Serial Submitter award. His dedication to submitting at least one valid finding every month throughout 2023 shows a level of consistency and commitment that is rare and commendable.

Critical Submitter

In the realm of high-stakes vulnerabilities, Shaikhyaser has emerged victorious in 2023, securing the new Critical Submitter award. With over two-thirds of his submissions being high or critical-severity vulnerabilities, his contributions have been pivotal in enhancing the security landscape of Detectify customers.
