Analog Launches Testnet, Allocates 2% Token Supply for Participants

Analog’s Testnet is open for developers, community and validators, participants can complete quests and climb the ATP leaderboard to share $ANLOG.

Analog is a Layer-0 cross-chain communication protocol and Web3 data provider. It empowers developers to build dApps with a diverse range of tools while allowing true interoperability between any blockchain network. Today, Analog is announcing the launch of its anticipated incentivized testnet. Analog’s core products form a powerful toolkit for cross-chain development:

Analog Watch offers a full-stack indexing and query protocol, simplifying Web3 data access via a GraphQL endpoint. Developers can utilize the open-source Watch SDK or the hosted Watch Portal to streamline their workflow.

Analog GMP (General Message Passing) provides a permissionless communication layer, allowing DApps to send and receive messages across different blockchains.

Finally, the Timechain, an immutable ledger underpinning the Analog network, uses a combination of Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) and Proof-of-Time (PoT) protocols to ensure security, decentralization, and scalability.

Participating in the newly launched incentivized Testnet offers a unique opportunity for developers, enthusiasts, and node operators to earn rewards and play an active role in shaping the platform’s future. Analog has allocated a minimum of 2% of its total $ANLOG token supply for all testnet participants.

The Analog Incentivized Testnet follows a phased rollout to ensure a smooth experience. Developers started to participate on April 16th while the broader community joined at the end of April. Soon, Phase 3 will open for validators and all three phases will run concurrently until the end of July.

The Analog testnet is also multi-faceted. Phase 1 invites all developers to list smart contracts, and build and deploy Views.* Phase 2 allows the broader community and web3 enthusiasts to complete social quests and share valuable feedback, while in Phase 3, validators can run testnet nodes to secure the network and earn rewards based on uptime and active participation.

All participants can earn Analog Token Points (ATPs) by completing different quests, including testing core functionalities, providing insights, and feedback and also taking part in the Watch Game, a community event where members explore and vote on Views* built by developers. In essence, users help identify the most innovative and useful Views in the ecosystem, earning ATPs for their contributions.

The Watch Game emphasizes collaboration and discovery, making it a fun and engaging way to connect different contributors in Analog’s community. These ATPs will be redeemable for a share of the $ANLOG token airdrop, providing a direct incentive for those who support Analog’s growth. In addition, Analog is looking to launch additional incentivized apps during the incentivized testnet.

“We believe that building a truly interoperable cross-chain ecosystem requires the insights and contributions of everyone,” said Victor Young, CEO/Founder of Analog. “Our Incentivized Testnet empowers individuals to test our tools, share their perspectives, and earn rewards as they help us build the most user-friendly and powerful cross-chain data platform.”

About Analog

Analog is dedicated to advancing omni-chain interoperability in the blockchain space. A novel Layer-0 blockchain for event data in Web3 powered by its own Proof-of-Time consensus mechanism, the platform’s suite of protocols is designed to streamline access to information and facilitate seamless cross-chain communication.

*Views are custom data sets that combine information from multiple smart contracts across blockchains, enabling seamless cross-chain interactions.

**Watch Game is a community event where participants explore and vote on Views built by developers, and earn ATPs in the process.
