The Spanish National Police have successfully dismantled a large-scale illegal IPTV service, TVMucho (also known as Teeveeing), which had amassed over 4 million visits in 2023.
This decisive action marks the first criminal intervention in Spain against an IPTV operation of this magnitude.
The operation was initiated following a criminal referral from The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) in January 2023.
Raid and Arrests
On April 22, Spanish authorities raided the operators’ facilities, effectively disrupting one of the most popular IPTV services among expatriates in the country.
TVMucho/Teeveeing offered over 125 channels, including major networks such as BBC, ITV, Sky, and RTL.
The raid resulted in the arrest of eight individuals involved in the operation.
Karyn Temple, Senior Executive Vice President and Global General Counsel for the Motion Picture Association (MPA), praised the Spanish National Police for their efforts.

Following orders from the Spanish National Police, access to the infringed content and 15 related domains was blocked.
The police also raided TVMucho’s administrative operations, uncovering significant amounts of illegal earnings, further highlighting the scale of the operation.
