Cybercrime Magazine To Distribute Two-Pager At Industry Conferences

Microsoft recently launched Signal, a 125-page magazine targeting business leaders.

Steve Clayton, the vice president of Microsoft’s communications strategy, told the Columbia Journalism Review that he was inspired to launch Signal after reading an Oct. 2024 New York Times story about the success of Costco Connection, a magazine that the retail chain launched in 1987 and is now the third-largest magazine in the country, with a circulation of over fifteen million copies each month.

Cybercrime Magazine has no plans for a full-fledged print version of our online media, but we’re releasing the first edition of a new quarterly two-pager with distribution at tech and security industry conferences over the next year.

Our first ever print media will be distributed at the upcoming Black Hat USA 2025 conference in Las Vegas Aug. 2-7 in the merch store for attendees to pick up as complimentary with their purchases. The 11×17″ Cybercrime Magazine two page print edition, in partnership with Evolution Equity Partners, will report on global cybersecurity spending through 2031.

“Conference producers have asked us about a piece of print media for several years, and we decided it was finally time,” says Steve Morgan, founder of Cybersecurity Ventures and Editor-in-Chief at Cybercrime Magazine.
