Domino’s Pizza Enterprises to deploy AI-driven rostering system – Software

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises will roll out an AI-driven smart rostering system across its global operations over the 12-to-24 months.

Group CEO and managing director Don Meij also said that a new in-store labour tracking and management system will also be expanded across the business, having “performed really well in Australia, New Zealand and the Benelux region”.

The company said it is looking to “better systems and processes, enabled by technology and centres of expertise”, to keep group labour costs under control.

“[We’re looking] to improve our efficiencies and help our store managers execute better,” Meij said.

The smart rostering system has been “in early trials” in Australia, with the results enough to move ahead with a full rollout in FY2025-26.

The group delivered an underlying net profit after tax of $120.4 million for FY24, 1.9 percent down on the previous year.
