French cybersecurity startup Filigran has raised $58 million in Series C funding, bringing the total raised to over $100 million.
The investment round, which comes one year after the Series B fundraising, was led by Eurazeo’s Growth team, with additional support from Deutsche Telekom (T.Capital) and previous investors Accel and Insight Partners.
Founded in 2022, Paris-based Filigran has built a cyber threat prevention platform that provides organizations with a unified view of their attack surface and security risks.
The eXtended Threat Management (XTM) suite integrates the company’s OpenCTI and OpenBAS solutions, which structure and operationalize threat intelligence and provide adversary emulation and security validation, respectively.
Filigran is also known for publishing open source projects to prevent cyber threats and engaging with other organizations in supporting the open source ecosystem. Over 6,000 public and private organizations globally rely on the company’s solutions.
The investment will support Filigran’s expansion to new markets, such as Japan and Saudi Arabia, and strengthen its position on the US and European markets. The company plans to hire new talent from France and Germany.
Additionally, the startup will invest in the development of OpenGRC, a new platform module that will help organizations prioritize cyber risks, and in accelerating AI integration with the development of the AI agent platform XTM One.
Filigran also plans to hire new talent to continue the development of its long-standing OpenCTI and OpenBAS solutions.
“Today, more than 6,000 public and private sector organizations around the world rely on Filigran’s OpenCTI platform to proactively defend against cyber threats. Coupled with a passionate and fast-growing open-source community, Filigran is clearly redefining and democratizing access to threat management,” Accel partner Andrei Brasoveanu said.
