Gurobi, Carahsoft partner to expand decision intelligence technology access across US public sector


Gurobi Optimization, vendor of decision intelligence technology, and Carahsoft Technology Corp. announced a partnership on Tuesday. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Gurobi’s Master Government Aggregator, making the company’s optimization solutions available to the public sector through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2), The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract and The Quilt contracts.

The Gurobi Optimizer is a high-performance mathematical optimization solver that helps organizations solve large-scale, mission-critical decision-making challenges. Used across industries, including the public sector, the platform enables agencies to optimize the allocation of resources, including funding, personnel, equipment and time while balancing complex operational, regulatory and budgetary constraints. 

Gurobi’s prescriptive analytics capabilities deliver transparent, data-driven recommendations that support informed, defensible decision-making, helping agencies improve operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.

Earlier this month, Claroty established Claroty Public Sector LLC as an independent subsidiary, responsible for all public sector work across the U.S. Federal, State and local governments as it pursues Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) mitigation. Additionally, upon passing an external audit and securing a federal agency sponsor, the company has achieved a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) “In Process” designation at the High impact level for Claroty xDome for Government, which is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, and appointed Lynn Norris as regional vice president (RVP) of federal sales.
