Today, we are delighted to launch our official Burp Ambassador Program: a community initiative to collaborate more closely with experienced Burp users, and support the great work they’re already doing.
Burp Suite has always evolved alongside the people who rely on it – penetration testers, bug bounty hunters, consultants, internal security teams, and researchers. This program formalises that relationship: practitioners help shape Burp, and Burp helps practitioners do their best work.
Why we’re launching the program
Burp isn’t built in isolation. Many of the features, refinements, and workflows in Burp Suite exist because security professionals pushed the boundaries of what was possible, and told us where we could do better.
The Burp Ambassador Program is designed to:
- Strengthen connections with trusted security professionals worldwide
- Support independent research and community education
- Help ensure Burp is being developed with your feedback in mind
- Amplify high-quality, real-world security content

What it means to be a Burp Ambassador
Our Burp Ambassadors were selected because they already do credible work in the community, and that independence is part of what makes the program useful for all. Our Burp Ambassadors are independent practitioners who are passionate about advancing the craft, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow.
They’re the people pushing AppSec forward: publishing research, sharing insights, speaking at events, building tools, and engaging with the wider community. Through their work, they don’t just deepen their own expertise, they help raise the bar for everyone.
At its heart, being a Burp Ambassador is about curiosity, and impact – contributing to a global community while continuing to build your voice and reputation in the field.
What we’re aiming for
We are focused on real impact, which includes:
- Accelerating our feedback loop through our Burp Ambassadors. They provide clear, actionable insights that directly inform and refine the development of our products and features.
- Expanding Burp Suite’s global reach and involvement by increasing interaction and presence within your local areas.
- Our Burp Ambassadors create helpful, high-quality educational resources online that our community can use.
