The company has announced the release of the Raspberry Pi 500 all-in-one compact computer, priced at $90, and the Raspberry Pi Monitor, available at $100.
Together, these products provide a complete desktop setup designed to fit neatly under any Christmas tree – and in one case, even a stocking if you’re feeling determined.
Raspberry Pi’s original mission to provide affordable, programmable computers to young learners remains at the core of its innovation. Over the years, the organization has branched into industrial and embedded computing, but affordability and accessibility remain cornerstones of its product design.

Launching the Official Raspberry Pi Monitor

Using the included USB-A to USB-C cable, a Raspberry Pi device can directly power the monitor via USB-C. In this mode, brightness is capped at 60%, and volume is limited to 50%, which remains sufficient for most users.
To unlock the full performance, users can connect a dedicated USB-C power supply capable of 5V/3A, such as the 15W USB-C power supply from Raspberry Pi.

Additionally, every Raspberry Pi 400 now comes bundled with a Raspberry Pi-branded SD card to enhance performance.
