OpenAI confirms ChatGPT's new study feature, helps with exams

BleepingComputer previously reported that OpenAI is testing a new ‘Study together’ feature, and today, a new announcement within the ChatGPT web app confirms it.

This announcement is titled ‘Study and Learn,’ and it looks like the feature will be called Study Together.

Study and Learn

With the Study Together feature on ChatGPT, you’ll be able to get homework help or break down complex problems.

But how is it exactly different from existing prompt engineering, such as “explain this concept to me in an easy way”?

It doesn’t look like Study Together is a new model, but it’s an art of prompt engineering and formatting.

Unlike traditional ChatGPT answers, Study Together provides a step-by-step guide to learning anything. You can break down complex problems with approachable, guided explanations.

On top of that, you can prepare for tests, test your knowledge with quizzes on any topic.

You can also go deep on any topic and ask any question.

This feature will begin rolling out to everyone in the coming hours or days.

As BleepingComputer previously reported, Claude and Gemini are also testing a similar feature, as they bet on the online education market.
