The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) has recruited Aussie Broadband CIO Anna Clive, following a mid-year leadership restructure at the internet service provider.

Clive announced her move in a brief LinkedIn post, noting that she is a “couple of weeks” into her new role as general manager of data, digital and innovation.
An RACQ spokesperson confirmed this is a new position at the organisation.
Clive will initially focus on “several key initiatives, including the development of advanced data analytics capabilities, the implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions, and the enhancement of member engagement through innovative technologies,” the spokesperson told iTnews.
“These efforts will ensure that RACQ continues to meet the evolving needs of its members and remains a leader in the industry.”
Clive – who was named telecommunications and media technology leader of the year in the iTnews Benchmark Awards earlier this year – had been Aussie Broadband’s first chief information officer.
In this role, she led technology strategy and transformation, as well as security, network and digitisation programs of work.
Clive notes on her LinkedIn that she finished up as CIO in July.
iTnews understands that the change coincided with the implementation of a new leadership structure at Aussie Broadband around the time of its annual results announcement about the same time.
The CIO duties have now been brought under a chief transformation projects officer role held by Andrew Webster.
