Andrew comes to the not-for-profit health and aged care services provider from Alliance Airlines, a carrier known for its services to mining sites, where she was CIO for almost two-and-a-half years.

She also previously held information services and cyber security roles at Super Retail Group.

At SVHA, Andrew will “lead and collaborate with the Digital and Technology (D&T) team in delivering the St Vincent’s technology roadmap and investment plan” and oversee core IT infrastructure (including its security),” the organisation said.

She also has a role to play in “championing best practice in customer-centric service delivery, supporting the introduction of new tools and processes to enhance patient and resident care, including contemporary platforms such as electronic medical records (EMR) and virtual care solutions” and in “enabling innovative and new care models that are more connected and efficient.”

In addition to Andrew’s appointment, SVHA named Jayne Barclay as its new national director of healthcare platforms, where she will focus on the organisation’s EMR, clinical and corporate systems, data analytics and AI.

Both Andrew and Barclay are set to “drive forward digital transformation at St Vincent’s, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of technology, with a commitment to improving patient and resident outcomes and operational efficiencies,” SVHA said.

They both report to group chief digital officer Michelle Fitzgerald.

“The breadth of their experience and vision for technological innovation will be instrumental in the ongoing transformation of our services,” Fitzgerald said in a statement.

“They will ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of our patients, residents, and staff.”
