TEG has appointed Ticketek’s managing director Cameron Hoy as its new chief operating officer and head of global ticketing, overseeing numerous digital divisions as the business expands internationally.
Hoy will now direct TEG’s data science, analytics and digital, product and technology functions, and lead global ticketing operations.
Hoy, who worked on Ticketek’s ‘App Clip’, has a longstanding relationship with TEG, which also owns Ticketek, working across both companies over the years.
He first joined Ticketek back in 2007 as director of sales and marketing before stepping into the managing director role in 2011.
Hoy would eventually shift to TEG, working across a range of C-suite positions while also moving back into the leadership position for Ticketek Australia role in 2015.
TEG CEO Geoff Jones said he was “delighted to appoint my longtime colleague” to the COO role, stating Hoy has a proven track record of delivering innovation and growth across our ticketing, digital and data science divisions over many years.”
