Top Cybersecurity Influencers on LinkedIn in 2025

Last last year Ivana Todorović named the top 24 cybersecurity influencers on LinkedIn to follow in 2025.

Todoric has deep experience on LinkedIn as founder of AuthoredUp, a secure platform for LinkedIn content creation and analytics, and she recommends the experts on her list in threat research, security leadership, and policy for advanced insights.

Todoric’s list is dotted with guest experts who have been on the Cybercrime Magazine Podcast including:

Jen Easterly, Former Director at CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency);

Chuck Brooks, Georgetown University Adjunct Professor and Forbes Contributor;

Jane Frankland, Advisory Board Member for The Black Hat Executive Summit, a part of the Black Hat Events, the world’s leader in information security events;

Michael Coates, Founding Partner at Seven Hill Ventures, a cybersecurity venture capital firm investing in seed rounds, and former 3X CISO (chief information security officer) at Twitter (now X), Mozilla, and CoinList, and former chairman at OWASP (Open Worldwide Application Security Project);

Todoric lists two journalists who have also been featured on the Cybercrime Magazine Podcast:

Brian Krebs, Author of the popular KrebsOnSecurity.com blog covering cybersecurity, and The New York Times Bestelling Author of “Spam Nation”, an inside story of cybercrime.

Nicole Perlroth, The New York Times Bestselling Author of “This Is How They Tell Me The World Ends” and former Cybersecurity Reporter at The New York Times for more than 11 years.

Last but not least, Todoric named our own Steve Morgan, founder of Cybersecurity Ventures and Editor-in-Chief at Cybercrime Magazine, as a journalist alongside Krebs and Perlroth.

It should be interesting to see who Todoric names as top cybersecurity influencers on LinkedIn in 2026.
