What a week! – HackerOne at WIRED Security

This week has been a whirlwind here at HackerOne!

In addition to announcing a new partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense and the winners of Hack the World, our CEO, Mårten Mickos was talking bug bounties with CNBC’s Squawk Alley. HackerOne CTO and co-founder, Alex Rice, also flew across the pond to speak at WIRED Security in London. More specifically, Alex spoke about the importance of security teams choosing to engage with the hacker community proactively. His message to the audience, “If you can’t beat ’em, get ’em to join you!”

In its first year, WIRED Security 2016 showcased new thinking and security approaches that are being used to re-imagine the sector – including bug bounties.
